Hometown: Elmhurst, Illinois

-Fit4Mom Member since: November 2016

-Members of your Family: 3

-Current/Previous Career: I have my degree in Elementary Education. After teaching for a year, I decided to become a full time nanny. I am now a full time mama.

-How did you find Fit4Mom? My sister, Elizabeth, told me about it. She joined a Fit4Mom group in Arlington Heights and after hearing about how much she loved it, I looked for a group near my house.

-What has Fit4Mom done for you (or meant to you)? Fit4Mom has given me the motivation to get back into shape and the ability to get a workout completed with my daughter.

-What was your childhood ambition? To become a postman. I loved receiving mail as a child and wanted to become a postman so that I could bring others the same joy each day.

-What does motherhood mean to you? Motherhood is nothing like I imagined it would be, but it's far surpassed my wildest dreams. Motherhood has been challenging, sacrificial, meaningful and worthwhile. I am so thankful for this life and the blessing of my family.

-What is your favorite exercise? Tick-tocks

-What is your proudest moment? Every time Sloane learns something new it brings me so much joy!

-What are three of your favorite things (besides your family)? Shopping, coffee and wine.

-If we asked your partner what they think your best qualities are, what would they say? My patience and my giving heart.

-Tell us something about yourself that would surprise us: I love refinishing furniture.
